Flowspace is proud to be recognized as part of the inaugural Salute to Diversity Honor, presented by the Journal of Commerce. Flowspace’s DEI program was named an honorable mention, with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey taking home the top nod. DHL Global Forwarding, XPO Logistics, and the South Carolina Port Authority were also named as honorees.

The Salute to Diversity Honor is the first of its kind to recognize transportation and logistics organizations that are committed to driving diversity, equity, and inclusion in the industry. Judged by an esteemed committee of industry and DEI experts, nominees were assessed on how they embed DEI as a core value in their firm through programs and recruitment activities and how they support DEI more widely in the community.

Flowspace’s employee-led DEI & Values Council has established mechanisms for education, mentorship and advocacy that reflect the values and concerns of the +100 person workforce.

Areas of recent focus include the prioritization of diversity in recruitment and retention, anti-bias training and education, and establishing mentorship programs for underrepresented groups.

Flowspace is honored to be recognized by JOC, and eager to continue fostering diversity and creating an equitable environment for all.
