Sales channel fulfillment reporting

Every sales channel behaves differently. Marketplace orders, storefront orders, and wholesale orders can vary in size, shipping cost, and how quickly they reach customers. 

Flowspace's sales channel order categorization and reporting puts your channels side by side, so you can see how each one performs instead of relying on a single blended average.

How channels are tracked

Each outbound order can be assigned a sales channel when it's created: manually in Flowspace, through the Channel column on a CSV upload, or via API. Orders created through integrations and EDI can be categorized automatically.

What you'll see

For each channel, the report shows units shipped, orders shipped, average daily orders and units, and average units per order. It also covers cost: average fulfillment cost per unit, average shipping cost per unit, and average order total cost. 

For delivery, you'll see average U.S. shipping zone, average transit time in days, and the percentage of orders delivered within two, three, and four days. Together, this gives you volume, cost, and speed for every channel in one report.

Narrow it down

Filter by warehouse, channel, and ship date range, or limit the report to orders where Flowspace manages the transportation, or where it doesn't. 

Channel and order source columns have also been added to the Outbound Order Report, the Parcel Shipment Report, and the Outbound Shipped Parcel Order Summary Report, so you can slice your other reports by channel too.

Why it matters

A channel that looks healthy in total can hide higher costs or slower delivery. Comparing cost per unit, order size, and delivery speed by channel shows you where to focus: which channels to grow, which shipping settings to revisit, and where customers are waiting longest.
